A truck decided the bridge over Route 216 in North Laurel, MD decided it wanted to lay over on the exit ramp, snarling traffic in the area and closing portions of the highway between Scaggsville and North Laurel on June 28, 2012. Crews used specialized tow trucks to support the trailer and keep it from falling off of the overpass onto Route 216 as they worked to right the truck and get the damage assessed.
